A House is Born (sort of)

We have a house. It's very exciting and hard to believe it is actually happening. After starting this process in April '06 we thought we would be in before Christmas. When that didn't happen we nicknamed our project the "surreal house." Now it's surreal to visit 5 Washburn and think, that belongs to us. Us and Countrywide. Thanks Countrywide.

Jeff and Salena-

You may not have believed me but I will definitely be following your blog. I'm excited to see the structure going up and can't wait to see it in person. Keep up the great work on the blog!!!

Writing the post is easy. Writing the mortgage check every month might be a little harder. Thanks you guys for appreciating our project.

The mortgage... huh.

Maybe my firm, rosenlof/lucas could help a bit by paying you handsomely for the opportunity to do the landscaping at what looks so far, to be the coolest house built in minneapolis yet.

I'd also like to write about you on our blog rolu dsgn at http://rolu.terapad.com , is there any chance I could do a drive by and take some pics?

Congrats on an inspiring beautiful project. I can't wait to learn more and see it in real life. Call me?

Cheers,
Matt Olson
